And what you say is true, there are a lot of roads to each destination. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

Re: Life is A Journey – Video

Liked your talk Muneer. Thanks for sharing with me. It does makes sense to focus on the end (destination) not the way to go there, which can be a thousand ways. If one road closes then there are other ways as long as the destination is clear. We always see movies of people who say it's not the failure but how you get up and try again till we succeed.

Re: Life is A Journey – Video

Hi Barbara,

Wow thanks for such a detailed comment, i appreciate that you took the time
to watch the video and then write such a detailed comment.
I hope that you didn't feel i was judging anyone rather trying to offer some
of the lessons that i have learned that have helped me improve. Your points
are well thought and noted. and i like your explanation of non judgement
thanks again,
Muneer

Re: Life is A Journey – Video

This reminds me of my fascination with Flucidity Theory; in which the same kind of steps are taken to realize a goal. It is also reminiscent of the writings of Mike Dooley; as he also discusses the importance of remaining focused on the goal, rather than trying to plan a rigid course of action to arrive there. "Lean not upon your own understanding". I try to refrain from judging myself, as well as others. I see now that I must withhold from judging things. Learning of them is fine; then keeping the mind open, I gain the ability to let the subconscious continuously refile things to keep them in proper perspective. When a basic fundamental truth or natural law is learned; it can be integrated into a foundation of understanding by which things can be gauged when they are seen to be relative. Jesus expressed non~judgment well when he asked, Who made me your judge? He claimed that he was not there to judge; yet, if it so happened that he did judge, then his judgment would be sound. This suggests, to me, that the very act of withholding judgment, as a rule, enables one to more appropriately discern anything. On the flip~side; if one approaches everyone & everything with the habit of judging everything; then one cannot distinguish, from memory, enough difference between vain imaginings & objective observations. Let go.

Re: Life is A Journey – Video

Yasar, you area a wise man :) and its great to have you as a friend, thanks

I only wished it was not accompanied with music, for the speech to be more clear... but it's OK!

I really liked the part where you said "if you want to be the best, learn from the best" cause it's absolutely true. Also where you said "take some action, do something" and that's inshaAllah what I am going to do. so wish me luck!
